Demonstration Saturday! Making Medieval Greeting Cards!

Join us Saturday, September 6, when Risa Gettler, calligrapher, designer, illustrator, author and instructor, shares Making Medieval Greeting Cards! Watch as she shows us how to how to make them and prepare them for printing, demonstrating Medieval and other painting and lettering techniques. Gettler combines her advertising career with her lifelong study of letter arts. She has studied calligraphy in America, the University of Calligraphy/Italy, Princeton University’s Department of Spanish Medieval Art, the Morgan Library, Getty Center and UCLA Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies.

Venue opens at 12:30 pm. (Park in the Wells Fargo parking lot to the south of the Masonic Lodge.) Demonstration begins at 1:00 pm. Come, have a few snacks, and get to know the folks who run the Hemet Art Center and Gallery! We'd love to see you there!
