Event Description:
Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District presents a Soap Box Derby in the City of Menifee.  Races begin at 8 am.  Competition Categories of: Ages 8-12, 13-17, and 18+.  Race your home-built car down Menifee Road between Craig Avenue and Holland Road.  There will be merchandise and food vendors for the hungry racers and spectators.  Important Information:  Building Clinics at Menifee Community Center (10am to 2 pm) on August 25, September 8, September 15, September 22, and September 29.  Menifee Community Center is located at 30627 Menifee Road, Menifee.  ROAD TRAILS will take place on October 6, from 10 to 11 am, CAR INSPECTION will take place on October 12, from 5 to 7 pm, RACE DAY CHECK-IN, October 13 from 7 to 7:30 am
